Comments:
Had much fun (most of the time) operating with fine teams representing the Deep
Dixie Contest Club (DDCC). We had four teams this time and all are very good
operators with high levels of hospitality, too.
But, I had to quit twice during the contest due to severe eye pain. I haven't
had those 'eye aches' in years, but it felt like they were on fire and the only
relief I could get was to close my eyes. But, I tried to 'soldier on' for my
second lap. Just couldn't hang in there for 10 hours, so I apologize for
letting down my fellow team members.
All in all, this NAQP was very good.
Best wishes to all in future NAQP runs.
73,
