Very enjoyable time. Quite startled and disappointed when the contest ended ca.
0100 local time; I somehow expected it to run through the night. Casual
operation. Had a great time on 160M proving that my inverted-L, strung through
trees and with a poor radial field, which by all accounts should not work much
at all, did just fine at 100W, pulling in several west coast, Midwest, and gulf
coast stations to my CQ. Happy to see so many friends from other contests,
especially the CWOPS crowd, who were out in force.
K3/Hexbeam @45 Feet/ZS6BKW dipoles n/s and e/w / 160M inverted-L at 70 feet.
