Comments:
40 was good, but 80 was very good. I haven't heard the band this quiet in a long
time.
For a bit there on 80, it looked like I was going to squeeze 100 Q's out of the
hour in the last 10 minutes. For about five minutes, the last-10 rate counter
was 190-220. Great fun.
For a long long time, I've often been mistaken for K7SV. Maybe it was conditions
on 40 tonight or something, but five stations mistook me calling them for
K7SV--a new record. After they finished sending 'k7sv' his exchange, I pause a
second to make sure Lar didn't sneak in. when I hear nothing, I give my call,
pause, give my my exchange. There usually a pause at the other end as the other
operator edits his entry window. :-) I don't mind being mistaken for a great
op; just get me in the log correctly.
W5TM: why did you call me in the last minute, but not finish the QSO? The clock
rolled over to 04:00:00 as I was sending the exchange. It was still a good QSO!
;-)
