Participated on a time-limited basis. Band conditions were not their best, and
with exceptions, quite short, especially 40m. I did work most of the stations I
heard, but just didn't hear that many, especially from the Western states. The
20m band here was near death.
My HOA community's power lines are buried so it's usually quiet here, but not
last night; in this rainy weather the adjacent neighborhood's power lines lit up
so that all bands had line noise.
That said, it was still fun to run into familiar ops who ended QSOs with
"Go PVRC!"
QTH is a small city lot (too small for 160m) with low-altitude 80m and 40m wire
antennas and a vertical. Transceiver is an Icom IC-7410 at 100w.
