Comments:
To keep peace in the family I did not start serious operation each night until
approximately 11pm local time, but this was still my best score to date thanks
to the nice European opening Sunday morning around their sunrise. It sure was
fun having the the European stations answering my CQ for a change.
Transceiver: Kenwood TS-180s (100 watts) with 500 Hz IF filter.
TX Antenna: 68 foot base loaded vertical with 55 short buried radials (2500 feet
of radials).
RX Antennas: 3 small point fed pennants(pointing 40, 160, and 300 degrees) with
one W7IUV preamp.
Audio Filter: Hi-Per-Mite active audio filter (200 Hz bandwidth).
