20 was universally poor and short lived, as everyone is mentioning.
40 was good and then suddenly just before 0200 POOF..... all signals took on an
Au Aurora sound... and eastern half of the country disappeared. Must have been
a solar hit right around then.
Called it a nite, with 2 more hours to go on 80, and a lousy 80 antenna.
A fun couple of hours...... hope to see many of you in the coming SSB SPRINT.
