Comments:
Another good hour. I really thought I was going to make more qsos today. I had 7
when the hour was half gone, but then I hit a 20-minute streak with no qs. I
heard plenty of stations but most were weaker, it seemed than the ones I heard
in the first half. And whereas during the first half hour, most everyone I
called responded, it seemed people couldn't hear me during that 20 minutes. I
continued trying 20.
Finally, I switched to 40. There weren't many stations there, but I picked up a
couple of qs. Rob, K6RB, was really booming in. Then back to 20, but no more
luck there in the last 10 minutes.
The radio gods just weren't smiling on me. Maybe next week! Thanks for the Qs
and 73!
