I had time to do this contest Friday evening and Saturday morning, then I would
no longer be at the Gwinnett QTH. However, I had forgotten to bring my Windows
laptop back to Gwinnett.
I had a MacBook Pro and a copy of VMWare, I figured I could set it up for the
contest. Unfortunately, I had no operating system, so I had to download Windows
10 from MSDN, then install it, then install N1MM.
Took forever to get it set up, but it worked. Handed out a few keys Friday
evening. Tried calling CQ a few times, but with only a handful of takers. Noise
levels seemed really high. I really need a low-noise antenna.
Got on for 45 minutes before sunrise Saturday, and that was it. Lots of fun.
Heard ND, but couldn't break into the pile.
