Comments:

I was on the team "as Canadian as possible under the circumstances"
(part timers)

Interesting things heard on the air this w/e

1. - I was on 20m running at 34wpm beaming the UK and some guy kept sending
"QRS" at around 30-32wpm every time I let up on the key. This went on
for probably close to 5 minutes. There is soooo much I could say about this, but
I'll just leave it at that.

2.- I had to leave and drive into town late Sat afternoon. I heard VY1AAA
calling (mostly) empty CQ's at a healthy 579 in my MINI. Unreal good signals.
I am sure Gerry's signal was mostly landing in the Atlantic, but boy was he some
loud ! ! !

3.- 3B8XF on 3 bands. 80m was tough, but we did it. No 4 banders, but like
most of you, I was lucky enough to get Nigel/XF, ZF2CA , VP9I and V31GX on 3
bands. If I had put in more time some of these could've been 4-banders. (I only
had 2 Q's on 15m)

4.- VK's LP on 40m and 80m. Fun !

5.- couldn't raise any of the VU's I heard. I am sure noise on their end kills
the really weak signals (me)

Tnx All !
