I always have problems with 160 meters because of my high local noise level on
the band, but this contest didn't go too badly, and I had a good time. In
addition to the local noise level, Saturday night seemed to have a lot of
thunderstorm-like static crashes. It was raining here, not storming, but it
seemed like someone must have been having a stormy night.
As always, I apologize to those who could hear me but I couldn't hear you. I did
the best I could to dig out the signals from my noise level, hopefully most of
the callers got a QSO. I also apologize to anyone I may have trampled on, not
hearing you because of my noise. I did the best I could.
To everyone that I could hear, thanks very much for the QSOs!
