In recent months I've had a lot of problems with folks sitting down very close
to me in frequency. This morning I was on 7028. About three minutes after the
CWT started a 6 started calling CQ just above me. I told him the frequency was
in use and he left. Then a 3 fired up. He totally ignored me. This afternoon I
started on 14028. About five minutes before the start a 4 started testing 200 hz
above me. I told him the frequency was in use. He ignored me. After it started a
0 fired up 150 hz below me. So I'm jammed between two high power stations with
big antennas. In five minutes of CQs one station answered me. Yeah I know, suck
it up and move. I was really happy to see increasing participation in the CWTs,
but it appears that it's no longer a good thing for me. I don't know how much
this is happening to others, but I've about had it!
