Comments:
Very much enjoyed the Florida QSO Party this year. Most contacts were on 40
meters both Saturday and Sunday. Had a good roll going on Saturday but had to
stop due to unexpected company.Sunday was a bit slower pace on 40, but most
stations were workable. Twenty meters was in terrible shape all weekend, but I
could see on Sunday there were many Florida stations on the air. I could bairly
hear them, but guys from the mid west were working them left and right. Many
thanks goes out to the mobile stations, they did a fantastic job! Did not hear
any of my fellow Swamp Foxers but I know there were a few of them out there. All
contacts were made with my horizontal loop. Could not hear Florida with any of
my other HF antennas.
