Comments:
Uhhhh, not a great day for me. My regular antenna is QRT and I am using my
Buddipole as a stopgap. Here are my excuses: the band was noisy, there weren't
many strong signals that I heard .... and I know there must be a few more
(excuses, I mean).
I tried calling CQ for 10 minutes or so but got no takers. The two stations I
worked seemed to be 1) a station in Germany, I have to admit I only sort of
worked, and 2) a station in MN that was a bona fide contact.
Next week, I'll see if I can get a better SWR on the Buddipole.
