My sincere gratitude to the fine contestmen who operated the station this
weekend. WF7T, K3IE, and AD4EB did an outstanding job with what they had
available in terms of hardware. This was the first-ever DX multi-op contest from
K4RO, which is a single tower, single op station. Several lessons were learned,
and a few challenges were met head on. Great food was of course part of the
operation. We all had a real good time, and that's what it's all about. Deepest
gratitude goes to my sweet Susie. Without her, we would have been uncomfortable
and hungry all weekend long.
