Comments:

Wow, this week end has to go down as the strangest conditions I have ever
experienced on 10 meters.I don't know if I was having antenna problems or just
to blame it on propagation conditions.... didn't matter which way I rotated the
beam... signals all seemed to be coming from all directions at the same time.
Turning the beam had very little effect.... only a very few strong stations....
most were quite weak. Then the noise floor kept going up and down.... rise up to
S7 for a while and then fade down to S0 for a while. Only worked 3 S. Americans,
a handful of Carib., no Africa or VK/ZL, and 1 CN3 and 2 CT3's.... been a while
since I worked over the pond in that direction on 10 meters. The rest were all
W/VE.... mostly by running and a little S/P. Thanks for all the q's and patience
for the repeats! FT5000-KPA1500-KT36@150 ft-Writelog.... 73's Cort K4WI
