Thanks Dave for use of your new call...it worked well...Not sure why so many
stations came back to NN4K....there will be busted calls, as there is more
than usual dupes...
Conditions were surprising!! Not much noise on any band...and the big surprise
was the opening on Sunday to Europe on 10 meters (YES! 10 meters)... worked
LZ9W, P33W, OM3BH, IR8D, 9A1A, IB9T, IQ8SN, EA7TG and YT7Z...and plenty of
US stations...almost as many Q's on 10m as worked on 80m...
Wife was ill with the "crud"....so didn't put in the full 36 hours...
She always makes sure I have plenty to eat at the rig in a CW contest...
Went out for breakfast on Sunday morning at a crucial time....
This is still the greatest contest with all the options....why other contest
don't offer a T/S category is still a mystery to me....Thanks CQ!!
Always great to check after the contest to see who was behind all those
"strange" calls...Thanks for the Q's!
