Comments:

3el Yagi at 7 meters, IC-7300 barefoot, from AZ
2m transverter available, but all QSOs were on 6m

That was AWFUL...until the last 2 hours and 15 minutes. Saturday and most of
Sunday featured very sparse and weak Es openings only accessible with FT8 and
featuring very rapid and deep QSB. I had more QSOs that failed at the RR73/73
phase than successful QSOs. It didn't help that I kept getting beaten out on
the brief peaks by locals running full power.

Finally, some good propagation kicked in around 0045UT Sunday evening to save an
otherwise wasted weekend. I picked up 38 QSOs in the last 135 minutes, all
sporadic-E, which is a nice rate for me. This also included some SSB QSOs, so
thankfully it wasn't just an FT8-fest. The best rate was 10 FT8 QSOs in 16
minutes.
