Comments:
The 6-meter inverted-vee dipole I put up for the weekend was
practically a dummy load. All contacts were FT8, since no
signals were ever heard on CW or SSB. Had recurring problems
with the external sound card, so ended up removing it and
plugging directly into the laptop, which ended up being much
more reliable. After disappointing results in the January
and June VHF contests, I don't think I'll bother working
another VHF contest for a while. The paint isn't going to
watch itself!
