Comments:
Condx seemed pretty bleak when 20 finally opened up Sat AM with vy weak and few
EU sigs. Took a long break and returned after dinner to find a stronger EU
opening, which seemed rare for this stage of the cycle. 40 performed well with
good prop everywhere but 80 was full of QRN, normal for summer. Did manage to
work everything we heard there.
Did only S&P for most of this looking for new countries. Didn't want to get
sucked into a NA QSO Party. But when there were few DX stns left to Q, finally
decided to do some Running. Does get the juices flowing.
Had to bail out twice with bad thunder and lightning storms overhead, especially
the last 5 hours. Took a few close hits but survived with everything well
grounded. Tnx for the Qs.
