Comments:
Outside a number of equipment surprises, like having the solar system show up
with uncharged batteries, discovering what I think is a strange
"feature" in the K3's firmware which made it send a steady carrier
rather than RTTY characters, and having to fight with the BigIR antenna and the
tuner on the subject of too much SWR, things went smoothly. hihi
40 was really the money band and it just got better as the evening progressed.
Everything on 20 was a bit of a struggle. In spite of relatively few signals on
80, it was fairly easy to make QSOs toward the end of the evening.
Definitely a fun contest.
