Comments:
Because of family obligations on Saturday, I was only able to operate part of
the contest
2M: 1KW; 15 element Quagi.
18 Q's, 12 grids. Farthest grid was FM17.
6M: 100 watts, 3 elements 3 feet above the house roof.
46 contacts, 33 grids. 43 contacts were FT8.
6M I only recently added FT8 to the station. With my modest 6M set-up,
obviously, this was a good move.
2M SSB and CW were dead here. Stations, that are normally quite strong here,
were way down in the noise..
The math for this band is simple…I averaged a little more than 1 Q per
operating hour. Thank goodness for the voice and CW keyers.
I did have fun, tho'.
