Comments:
Just like in the 1300Z session I could hear
a half dozen USA, but could only work K3UL
on 14 MHz... Similarly there was a propagation
gap between PA country and GW4J on 7 and 14 MHz.
Could not hear the regular British gang in either
the 1300Z or 1900Z session. This was probably due
to Es sheets maybe partly generated by the Perseids
meteor shower... 3.5 MHz got busy at last and there
I heard some more G-stations as well... The repaired
sloper showed 1 : 1 SWR on 80 m without a tuner, so
that made band-switching quicker... Cheers/73, Zaba
