Comments:

Other than county expeditions for CQP and 7QP, I really dislike SSB contesting.
A major reason is the disruption of other users of the band. and the resulting
antipathy expressed by non-participants. Reading posts by participants, I am
especially glad that I decided not to join a team.

At this point in the solar cycle, 15M has been supporting limited CW QSOs
between stations with good antenna systems and low RX noise; other NCCC members,
even N6RO, report that it was a complete bust this weekend. That means everyone
is crammed into three bands -- 20, 40, and 75 (maybe 160, but noone was there
when I looked around 500Z), and the QRN on 40 and 75 made for lots of repeats.
