I participated in this nice contest only for a few hours, despite the terrible
propagation and the very high noise on 15 and 20 meters.
15 meters were opened only 3 hours on Saturday afternoon. Almost completely
closed on Sunday.
20 meters were very noisy. I heard that many station were calling me but,
sometimes, I was unable to receive signals below S5.
On Saturday the band closed at around 9.00 pm (local time). Fortunately on
Sunday the band was a bit better and it closed a couple of hours later.
40 meters band was quite ok.
80 meters. I didn't operate the first night. Then during the second night, at
2.00 am, I decided to install the half wave dipole and I made 18 QSO in about 30
minutes.
Thank you to all stations that called me and to the stations that had the
patience to repeat several times the reports and the progressive numbers due to
my noisy RX conditions.
8 stations made QSOs on 4 bands.
