Comments:
Good run this time, almost beat my best ever score back from when we had solar
flux. Still haven't ever managed a WA sweep -- missed Mason county this time.
Blew up my tribander on Sunday afternoon. (It's a wimpy TH3JRS so that wasn't
hard to do haha.) 20 was pretty well worked out by that time so rather than take
it down to attempt repair I just went down to 40 meters which was starting to
perk up by then.
Higher bands did not turn on at all. I worked one station on 15 meters, my
neighbor KC7YE. Very little luck with SSB except on 80 where I got most of my
county mults. Claimed score includes 1000 points for contacting W7DX on SSB +
CW. Worked `em on RTTY too but didn't meet the QSO threshold for the bonus. Hard
to find digital QSOs in this contest.
