Comments:
Split the time on Ken's excellent station with N6WM. Did the first 8 hours, then
the last 2 hours of session 2, and then overslept and did just the last hour of
session 3. The most exciting by far was the last hour when EU was booming in.
Had some trouble with amp faulting and inability to reset it remotely, which
mostly affected 80m.
Thanks to PL-259 for sponsoring this contest. I love the "distance-based
scoring". Have mixed feelings about the three separate 8-hour periods...
in theory, it should be less taxing, but it ends up taking its toll anyway;
might be better to have a single 24-hours.
RTTY lives. But needed more Asian participation and it got very slow the last
few hours of Session 1.
