Comments:

Great fun and frustration doing a SSB contest on low power...so many juicy mults
left CQing in my face! But we have all been there. Very slow start with the
Solar storm conditions... I think 5 hours for my first 29 S and P Qs! No 20m to
start with. Stayed up all night on Friday/Saturday after seeing the conditions
to EU improve after midnight. But Saturday night ans Sunday morning was a bust
with big rain storm static, so not low band runs. And then my K3 went bust
while calling. It made a strange loud audio noise then shut down. Not an obvious
power supply or SWR thing, so ???? Switched to the FT-1000mp for the rest of
the contest. Missed EU sunrise. Sunday was pretty good on 40/20/15. Surprised
to work VK9NC and some VK4s after 1100Z on 40m.

Lots of activity kept me clicking the bandmaps. Thanks for all the Qs and for
all the DXers activating to islands.

Now to tackle the K3 problem....fingers crossed!
