Comments:
Given band conditions here, I decided a single-band (20m) effort would be a more
productive use of my time at the radio. I set very conservative targets but was
definitely not on track by mid-Saturday and seriously considered packing it in
and going outside to rake the leaves that the wind brought down on Friday might.
But I didn’t. And I’m glad. Had I quit, I would have missed hellos with
friends near and far -- you know who you are :) -- and a Q with someone who I
rarely, maybe not ever?, hear on SSB though I hear the people he is having a QSO
with.
I didn’t get the kind of pileups I would have liked -- it was hard to find and
hold a frequency -- but Sunday was much more enjoyable. My thanks to everyone
who stopped by.
