Comments:
This was my first contest from Great Falls location. Although tower and beam
are still in the garage, I was able to toss an Array Solutions OCF dipole in the
trees and it played pretty well. Noise level isn't perfect but so much better
than in Reston. I ended up running much more than I have in the past and got
fairly comfortable with it, which made me regret doing low power. Next time the
A2000 will be keeping my feet warm!
I jumped from 40 to 80 a little early today before 80 got crowded, and got a
nice frequency around 3528. As the rest of the world moved to 80 they came
through my run frequency and I had lots of fun working them.
Nice to work so many PVRC folks. Thanks for all the Qs!
