Comments:

I was shooting for 1K QSOs, but some family issues mercifully called me away
early Sunday afternoon, at which point the rate had slowed sufficiently that it
wasn't hard to call it a day. It seemed this year that there was more QSB and
many more weak signals than usual, requiring multiple repeats.
The one part of SS that I always enjoy is mult hunting unassisted. This time I
had 79 when I went to bed Saturday night, missing MS(!), PR, NL and QC.
Fortunately, WQ5L and VA2CZ called in Sunday morning, I found KP3Z on 15, and
was left looking for NL. I can remember in past years looking for VO1MP on the
low end of 15, so I made a point of looking low on 15 and 20, and stumbled upon
a pileup for VO1KVT on 20 for the last one. As usual, some mults that are
sometimes rare were plentiful (e.g., 8 ND and 7 SD) and others were rarer. Here
are the ones for which I had only one or two contacts: NNY, PR, VI, MS, WTX,
LAX, ORG, NL, QC, ONN, NT.
  73, Andy AE6Y
