K3 / Optibeam - REMOTE
Unlike WAE a week ago the remote was near perfect. What I couldn't overcome was
the lack of 80 and 160 using the remote which most conservatively cost me 75
multipliers. Then to compound matters, at 1242 UTC the remote area had a power
outage that lasted 3 hours and 40 minutes during prime EU propagation Sunday
morning. That cost at least 150 Q's. The bands were quite noisy especially 40m
here where I had to use the attenuator for the first time ever on Sunday to run.
All-in-all still a fun contest with a lot of great stations and operators.
