Comments:

In the spirit of every log counts, above is my score from the at-home
portion of operation.

Otherwise, I was at K1TTT until 1900Z Sunday when I left early for various
reasons including some nasty snow/sleet/freezing rain conditions.

Some comments from the K1TTT portion. 40M, the first night was pretty good.
I think I operated from 0400Z for a couple of hours. Really terrific rate.

However 40M was totally different the 2nd night. I could not generate any
rate at all. Up high in the band and slow, down low and fast. Nothing. I
put NR4M on the 2nd VFO and listened for awhile. They had a steady 60 rate
into Europe working stations I could not hear. Really frustrating.

80M, it was fantastic both nights. Our opening operator handed it
of to me with something like 90 countries already in the log. I added another 15
to close the first night operation with 105 countries. It had legs deep into
Europe long after their sunrise. We ended with 956/28/118 on 80.

Otherwise, I got home thinking I could rip off at least 100Qs in the last
2 hours. No chance. 20M was closed. I only had an R7 vertical on 40M and,
what I thought was going to be the money band, 80, had an S9+10 AC hum
across the entire band. I sent CQ and could hear Europe replying but could
not pull the calls out of the noise. Shut off the radio and enjoyed dinner
with the family.

73,

Ken - WO1N
