Comments:
Tnx to the patient operators while I did my best to copy you through all the
QRM,
multiple responses, dead zero beat stations, QRN, etc..., you know what I
mean!!Conditions made for an interesting contest.
It was great to work Dave K1ZZ, Rob NC0B, Guy K2AV, who's antenna design strung
through my trees made all this possible, many CWOPs (nice crisp exchange!!) and
many others from contacts on 160 in the past.
The west coast CA, OR, and WA were non-existent in my receiver!! However, Europe
more than offset that condition. There is something very excellent about this
QTH location, time to do some terrain analysis.
The SunSDRPro 2 driving my Palstar LA-1K to the Canadian legal limit performed
very well. The front end of this rig handled everything thrown at it.
The SAL-20 provided lower noise and rejection of interference when needed.
See you in the next one, 73, Roger VA1RST
