Comments:

Fun had during this year's effort. Wished I could make a full effort but it just
wasn't in the cards.

As many of you know, I am running with severe constraints on 160. Rushed to get
a DO Loop RX antenna up and well, it was absolutely better than nothing. I
loaded up my crusty, but trusty, G5RV Marconi voltage-fed style. My power meter
said I was pushing 75 watts.

I heard EU, but they didn't hear me. I didn't hear anything past CA, but frankly
I was pleased at the path from here to the west. Signals into the Caribbean were
solid as always. I have been sleep-deprived so I opted out of waking early for
the pre-dawn signals.

Made me wish I was able to play earlier and longer. The band was pretty nice,
even with my compromise antennas and location. Nice to hear old friends and new.
See you in the next one!
