Comments:
Christmas is now just past
At the door new year is knockin’
I just raised my antenna mast
And the bands they were rockin’
The Canucks were out in droves
As I tuned the dial today
The bands is where I roves
I made a modest score, hurray!
The European DX
It wasn’t very loud
Most callers were but flecks
But we made Canada proud
The USA guys came out to play
The signals were pretty good
I only wish we had a way
To increase their number in the hood
To all my friends in radio land
Thank you for the Q’s
We found you on the band
I know this isn’t news
Now the RAC test is done
And so is now the year
We had our great big contest fun
Time to raise a beer !
Happy New Year to all you folks
I’ll see you all again real soon
Good radio men with all the jokes
I’m sleepin’ now til noon
73 es CU (all of a sudden) in the next one.
