Comments:
Grandsons birthday party Saturday limited my time to 6 hours Sunday for this
one. Started out slow for the first 90 minutes while I tried to find a spot on
20M to run on. Once I got a spot I was able to get SO2R working on 40M. Since
the rate on 40M turned out to be good, I just kept running with dueling CQs with
an occasional S&P for a mult on 20M. I had to stop just after 4pm local
time with a good run in progress for a 5pm commitment...bummer....All in all, I
was pleased to end up with an average rate of 60/hr. That's much better than my
typical 40/hr average rate for a typical 16-20 hour effort. At least I didn't
have to think about the new off time rule going 6 hours in on sitting!! Not
time to even consider FT4 or FT8 even though I had it setup and ready to go. It
was good to work a bunch of familiar calls and fellow PVRC members. Worked a
few Europeans surprisingly early in the afternoon just above the noise. As
usual, thank for the Q's.
Happy New Year,
Eric - NR4O
