Comments:
My rig failed (Kenwood TS-590S) on 40 meters at 0400 EST on Saturday. Ruined the
weekend. i suspect a bad relay for 40 meters as other bands for the rig still
have power out. The rig has 1-2 watts power output on 40 meters and the internal
antenna tuner will not tune to any frequency on 40 meters. Everything else on
the rig works fine. Its kind of puzzling. I will have to search the web blogs to
see if anyone else experienced a similar problem. I was still able to
participate for a short period. It was good to work several TCGers in the mix.
