Comments:

I didn't plan to spend anywhere near 18 hours in this contest, but conditions
were decent and the activity sucked me in. Great fun!

On Sunday, when the rate slowed a bit, I decided to give FT4 a try. That didn't
work out as well as it did in the practice contest Friday night. My rate dropped
to half of what I had been doing on RTTY in the "slow" time. Lots of
time wasted with incomplete QSOs and problems being heard in the crowded
passband. Frustrating. On the plus side, I started using the cluster on Sunday
since the FT4 contacts put me in the Unlimited category and I found some good
RTTY DX mults that I might not have worked.

It was fun to work the short skip on 15 on Sunday, although I probably spent too
much time there. I struggled on 40 meters...need to find a way to put up a
better antenna this summer. Can't wait for 15 and 10 to come back...

Station: 2x TS-590S, SPE 1.3K-FA, Acom 1000, Writelog 12.46
Antennas: XR6 multibander at 25 feet (2 el per band), inverted Vs at 30-40 feet
