Comments:
Big thank you to Will K6ND for the privilege of operating his station... 100W
into SteppIR for 10-40 and 4 squares for 80 and 160 (he'd just finished running
radials earlier in the day). Very generous of Will to provide me the
opportunity.
I am happy with how things went. the IC7610 was new to me, so I spent the
contest with the manual open on one monitor. In general the QTH was quiet, and
I was able to work everything I could hear, mostly on the 1st call. Improving
K3SSS scores requires overcoming PEBKAC (problem exists between keyboard and
chair). If I keep after it, I'll get better. Thanks to the many ops who
suffered through my requests for repeats on names. I appreciate working you.
Thanks as always to my teammates from FRC, always very friendly and supportive.
Go FRC!
