Comments:
QRP in Andover, Mass at 130' ASL.
FT-817 with 6m dipole and Elk 2M/440L5 log periodic on a 12V bench supply at
home.
My best results for the January VHF contest. FT8 is a game changer for QRP at
low elevation.
Some short, surprising 6m enhancements to Florida and Missouri led to successful
QSOs at times Sunday evening. 2m was useful to neighboring grids for
multipliers. No activity found on 432 even after long CQ runs.
FT-817 and antennas performed well. Freezer paks on the top rear of the FT-817
kept it cool enough to run well using FT8. I melted through 3 per day.
Thanks for the contacts.
