20m dipole up 30ft
1st time I ever broke 300 Qs from a station I built myself - I wasn't expecting
that in February. The dipole seemed to work better than my previous 20m
antenna, a vertical. Antennas are in my 55 x 90ft back yard, in a [very
relaxed] HOA neighborhood. After two lightning events in the last 18 months, I
can take everything down in less than 5 minutes (nothing is left in the air if
there is any threat of bad weather - XYL rule).
