Comments:
CWT started out well, but guys left 80 too soon to go to 40. 50 QSOs on 80 in
the first 12 minutes. There were nice strong signals from out west and the east
coast was still coming in. It was a good workout with 141 QSOs. 86 on 80 in
34 minutes, then it slowed on 40 with 67 in the last 26 minutes. My rate always
drops on 40 and I never bother trying to get the SteppIR to work on 40 anymore.
I am still trying for 200 QSOs an hour on CW, but need a bit more antennas and
automation to utilize the time better.
Antennas: (80)vertical wire in the tree and (40)inverted vee at about 50 ft.
