Comments:

Tough to compete from up here under these band conditions. The more north the
more one is affected. Just 2 stateside calls in the log by Saturday morning,
Sunday was a little relief. I've always been looking for decent propagation but
no luck, so far. Maybe, next year.

Something worth mentioning concerning spotting. By the end of the contest I was
notified by one station to pay attention to the cluster spots. My response was,
as unassisted, I can do that after the contest. This was the case and to my
great surprise I discovered a great number of spots generated by
"ES5RW" including 2 self-spots. What's going on?! Someone deliberately
abusing my callsign or some "technical issue". After doing some
research I soon found out the station misusing my call as a spotter. I E-mailed
that guy and got his quick response with apologises admitting everything and
claiming this being a "technical issue" on his side. His explained the
situation and looked sincere. For that reason, I am not making his callsign
public. To make the long story short, ingnore all spots generated by
"ES5RW" during this contest.

73, Rein, ES5RW/ES6RW
