Comments:
X-ray ionization was so low that the
skip was far over 2000 km on 14 MHz.
Initially W3FV was one of the rare
signals, besides Italy. It has never
happened before, but after 10 minutes
I went down to 7 MHz. This time even
CQ CWT was productive... At 1332Z back
to 14 MHz. It was worth investing 5 min
into the N5AW pile-up, Marv actually
being the strongest USA-signal today.
Worked a half dozen more from that
direction, but these times it seems
that the bottleneck is becoming my
local QRN-level on the sloper wire.
