Comments:
I just messed around for a few hours and worked on the audio feed from the
MicroKeyer III for a while due to a bad audio report. I'll need to do some on
air testing with my brother to really tune it in.
With a 70 SFI making 15 and 10 less then optimum, OK, a lot less then optimum,
20 was packed. There were some very broad signals on the bands that made it
less than enjoyable to trying to operate next to. I see that I'm using the term
"less than" a lot. Now I know why I prefer the CW contests to phone.
I do enjoy SSB SS though. So I guess that wraps it up for me for the big
contests for a while. I'll be on the CWTs and the NAQP along with some VHF/UHF
efforts.
