Comments:
Well, I am just plumb wore out. I think this is the 1st contest that I have ever
entered where I have not made a single S&P contact. I now have greater
respect for those folks who can run for hours and just keep going. In my
defense, I'm OLD and using a virtual keyboard with the mouse is a real challenge
to my motor skills. That said… What a blast! I did WAS although no DC and a
few of the Canadian provinces.
Thanks to Jeff, the Georgia QSO party contest director, for setting up the
concept of the bonus stations, W4AN and W4NT. I operated W4AN on 20 and 40 m
SSB. Others operated with the same call on different bands and modes. The
station is a additional 100 point bonus that will be added to participants
scores during log checking.
Also thanks to all those who called and I apologize for so many repeats and for
missing some who tried and tried. I was flabbergasted by the amount of
participation. I expected a lot of activity and the pile seemed endless.
See you next time – Jere a.k.a. Mark to all those in the New Mexico QSO
party.
Flex 6400, Quadra amplifier, TH6-DX, 40 m dipole and N1MM.
