All contacts were SSB.
Operated as a portable from a hill in Brookline, MA.
No motorized rotor. I had to step out of my car and and engage the armstrong
rotor about 10 times. And, of course, every time I rotated the antenna, I'd hear
someone in the compass direction back where the beam had been pointing, so I
would dash out of my car and rotate it back.
Last week a police officer stopped by at 8:15 P.M. to close the park, so this
week I took down my antenna and packed up at 7:45 P.M., for 45 minutes of
operation.
