What a weekend!
Bands were absolutely fantastic,, again activity was brilliant (much due to
Corona Virus Lockdown)
Every band was open here, although 10 & 15 were somewhat down on what the
guys further south were experiencing.
I had no 160m antenna set up, it will remain down until the QTH move which is
coming in around 4 weeks. (Moving to England)
Never in my wildest dreams did i think this weekend would go so well.
The last 2 years i have only been active a few hours in this one due to work
commitments, was glad to get a full effort at it this year.
The key to this one was to CQ a lot, if you find a clear spot on the band, the
skimmers will grab you and the flocks will come, regardless of your power.
While Cqing i was searching and grabbing mults on the 2nd VFO, so this was a
SO2V operation.
Made a few mistakes along the way , apologies to anyone who got confused by my
random sending.
Thanks again for all the calls, the fun and the opportunity to post such a
score.
