Comments:

I'm not much of a VHF op and I don't have an antenna for any of the VHF bands
but many have noted that a 40 meter antenna will work so I have used my 40
dipole on 6 occasionally. It indeed does work, at least allowing me to work
most of what I can hear. I worked K8MFO and K8MR the first day but heard nobody
else. I got on at 2350 on 6/14 and found the band open so I picked up another
29 contacts from quite a few areas over the next two hours. It's fun when the
band is open.
