Many thanks to Robert K5PI who invited me to W5KFT with a field of amazing
antennas. He sat me down and said, ok Tom, just pick a frequency and run. No
S&P, no decoder, and just focus on getting the CALL sign right. It's ok to
be off on the Section and State. Something clicked for me and I went for it.
I started out at 18 WPM and inched my way up in speed over time. Had a blast.
